The Chess Confederation of the Americas – CCA and the Brazilian Chess Federation – CBX, are pleased to invite all the Chess Federations of the American Continent, to the XVIII American Continental Chess Championship 2025, which will be held from May 23rd to 31st, 2025, (Friday to Saturday) in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil.

Paticipants
JUGADORES OFICIALES: OFFICIAL PLAYERS: They have the right to accommodation and full meals at the expense of the
organization (from dinner on Thursday, May 22nd, to breakfast on Sunday, June 1st). They will be
accommodated in a double room base, they will have to be designated and communicated to the
organization by the presidents of each Zone, final date, until Sunday, April 20th, 2025.

por los presidentes de cada Zona, fecha definitiva, hasta el domingo 20 de abril de 2025.
a) The current Pan American U20 Champion (Junior);
b) One appointee of the Continental President;
c) Up to 3 (three) chess players from Zone 2.1;
d) One chess player from Zone 2.2
e) Up to 2 (two) from each of the Zones: 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5;
EXTRA PLAYERS The Absolute Continental is an Open tournament (with no minimum FIDE ELO
requirement), and each National Federation may register as many extra players they wish. All
players must have the endorsement of their Federation belonging to the Chess Confederation for
America registered in FIDE, unless otherwise indicated by CCA.
REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS
Registrations are made exclusively through the National Federations by sending an email to americancontinental25@gmail.com until Friday, May 2nd, 2025. Federations must send the data of their official and extra players: full name, identification document, FIDE identification number, email and telephone number. Registration and hotel reservation will be made with the validation of the air ticket; If other registration methods are established, they will be promptly communicated.
