The Chess Confederation of the Americas (CCA), the Cuban Chess Federation (FCA), are pleased to invite all the National Chess Federations of the American Continent, to the XIV Women's Continental Chess Championship of the Americas 2023, to be held from May 6 to 12, 2023, in the city of Havana - Cuba, as part of the LVI edition of the international tournament Capablanca in Memoriam. Havana, located in the north of the island, founded in the 16th century, with a rich chess tradition and culture, will host for the first time the best and brightest of the American continent. The so called "Wonder City" was chosen by the Swiss foundation New7Wonders in 2016 for its mythical attractiveness, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the charisma and joviality of its inhabitants.
