The Chess Confederation for America (CCA), and the Paraguayan Chess Federation (FEPARAJ), invite the federated sports teams of the American continent, to the XIII Pan American School Chess Championship, Open and Female to be played from October 12th to October 19th being held in the city of Asuncion, Paraguay
To this event are invited to participate kids, and teenagers from 5 to 17 years, from all 42 National Federations affiliated to CCA and will reward to all championship winners on each category in dispute. Likewise, it is the idea of the organizers to take advantage of the days off to promote the tourism and the knowledge of the host country by visitors.
Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas a la CCA y consagrará a los campeones Panamericanos de cada una de las categorías en disputa. Igualmente, es idea de los organizadores aprovechar los momentos de descanso para promover el turismo y el conocimiento del país anfitrión por parte de los visitantes.
To this event are invited to participate kids, and teenagers from 5 to 17 years, from all 42 National Federations affiliated to CCA and will reward to all championship winners on each category in dispute. Likewise, it is the idea of the organizers to take advantage of the days off to promote the tourism and the knowledge of the host country by visitors.
The event will take place in accordance with the laws and regulations of FIDE. Financial regulations of CCA for events, and the specifics regulations to the Pan American School Chess Championship established by CCA. The organization of XIII Pan American School Chess Championship will be in charge of the Paraguayan Chess Federation (FEPARAJ) together with The Chess Confederation for America (CCA)
Participants And Categories
a) Official Players
Will be considered as Official players (as defenders of their tittles) the champions of every category
of XII Pan American School Chess Championship 2024, disputed in Peru from October 16th to
21st of 2023, if eligibles. Champions of each category of the last Central American and Caribbean
School Chess Festival, in Costa Rica 2023, disputed in San José from 12 to 19 September of 2023,
if eligibles. And champions of the South American School Chess Championship 2023, disputed in
Callao, Peru, between 16th and 21st of December of 2023.
The organization is 100% responsible for food and lodging for official players

b) UNOFFICIAL PLAYERS AND COMPANIONS:
Every Federation may present the number of UNOFFICIAL PLAYERS it wishes with not
restriction, who must cover their registration, transfer, accommodation and registration expenses.

ENDORSEMENT OF THE FEDERATION TO WICH IT BELONGS:
All participants must present a guarantee from the Federation to which they belong. No player
may be registered if he does not have the approval of his own Federation
or if he does not belong to a Federation in the Americas region
d) VISAS
Countries that need a visa to enter Paraguay must register their delegation
no later than September 10, 2024 and send a copy of their passports to the organization.
After that date, the organization is not responsible for any immigration procedures

The Tournament will be divided into twelve (12) categories as follows:
Category U17 Women (born after January 1, 2007)
Category U7 Open (born after January 1, 2017)
Category U7 Women (born after January 1, 2017)
Category U9 Open (born after January 1, 2015)
Category U9 Women (born after January 1, 2015)
Category U11 Open (born after January 1, 2013)
Category U11 Women (born after January 1, 2013)
Category U13 Open (born after January 1, 2011)
Category U13 Women (born after January 1, 2011)
Category U15 Open (born after January 1, 2009)
Category U15 Women (born after January 1, 2009)
Category U17 Open (born after January 1, 2007)
