We have lost not only a leader, but a great friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ymar was a dedicated leader and a tireless promoter of chess in his country. During his tenure, he promoted and facilitated the organization of major international events, strengthening the profile of the sport in Colombia and bringing it to new audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the entire Colombian chess community during this difficult time.
