The Chess Confederation of the Americas (CCA) and the National Chess Federation of Mexico A.C. (FENAMAC) are pleased to invite all Chess Federations of the American Continent to the Continental Women's Chess Championship of the Americas, an official event of the Chess Confederation for America (CCA), promoted by the National Chess Federation of Mexico A.C. (FENAMAC)
I. The Continental Women's Chess Championship of the Americas 2025 will be held from April 30 to May 7, 2025, in Oaxtepec, Morelos, Mexico, at Dorados Conventions & Resorts - Carretera, Cocoyoc - Oaxtepec Km 2.5, Centro, 62738 Oaxtepec, Morelos.

Paticipants
Official Players: These athletes are entitled to full accommodation and meals covered by the organization from Wednesday, April 30, at 3:00 PM, until Wednesday, May 7, at 12:00 PM.
- One athlete designated by the Continental President
- Up to 3 athletes from Zone 2.1
- One athlete from Zone 2.2
- Up to 2 athletes from each of Zones 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5
- The 2024 Continental Women's Champion
- The Pan-American U20 Champio
- One athlete invited by the Organization
Official players will be accommodated in double rooms. Their designation must be notified to the organization by the presidents of each zone no later than April 5, 2025.
Additionally, each Federation may register any number of extra players without restrictions. These players must fully cover their registration, travel, accommodation, and meal costs. Accompanying persons are also fully responsible for their expenses. Registration for both players and companions will be managed exclusively by the corresponding Federation. The deadline for registering extra players is Friday, April 25, 2025. All participants must have an official endorsement from their Federation. Players without express authorization from their Federation or who are not members of an American Federation will not be allowed to register.
Official athletes must be registered by the corresponding Federations by April 15, 2025, through the following form: https://forms.gle/ocV6xeZAd6c5axhL9. For registration validations, contact: continental@fenamac.info After this date, all athletes will be considered non-official.
For an athlete's registration to be considered complete, the following information must be provided: full name, identity document (passport number), FIDE ID, recent passport-size photo, full birth date (mm-dd-yyyy), and FIDE title. This information must be verified upon arrival by presenting a passport or identity document.
Participants must pay a registration fee of USD $200.00, which includes the USD $100.00 CCA fee. Extra players and companions will be assured of participation once they confirm through deposit or bank transfer.
Each Federation will be jointly responsible for the payment of registrations and costs arising from the absence of registered players. Payments can be made from the publication of this announcement via bank deposit or transfer to the National Chess Federation of Mexico, A.C.
