The Confederation of Chess of the Americas (CCA) and the Cuban Chess Federation (FCA) are pleased to extend a warm invitation to all National Chess Federations of the American Continent to participate in the exciting Continental Chess Championship for Veterans and Seniors of the Americas 2024. This prominent event will take place from May 6th to May 12th, 2024, in the captivating city of Havana, Cuba, as an integral part of the LVII edition of the prestigious International Capablanca In Memoriam Tournament.
Paticipants
To have the opportunity to compete in the exciting S50 section, players must have reached the required age during the Championship year. Therefore,the birthdaymust be on December 31,1974, or earlier
As for the S65 section, participants must also have reached the required age during the Championship year. That is, the birthday must be on December 31,1959, or earlier.

Official Players: These participants are entitled to accommodation and full board, provided by the organization, from Saturday, May 6th at 3:00 PM
until Saturday,May 13th at12:00 PM.

Official players will be the top three finishers from each section in the previous edition, both in the Senior and Veterans categories. Additionally,
one player representing each of the zones 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5 will be designated for both the senior and veterans categories.
