The Chess Confederation of the Americas (CCA) and the National Chess Federation of Honduras (FENAH) are pleased to invite the Chess Federations of the Americas in the Central American and Caribbean area, to the "CENTRAL AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN CHAMPIONSHIP DE AJEDREZ U20 ABSOLUTE Y FEMENINO", which will be held in the city of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, from July 10 to 17, 2023 celebrará en la ciudad de San Pedro Sula, Honduras, del 10 al 17 de julio de 2023.
General Conditions
Each National Federation may register the chess players they want as long as they meet the
age requirement (Born after January 1, 2003). The event will be governed by the FIDE chess laws
and the regulations established by the CCA in the document REGULATIONS FOR THE
REGIONAL UNDER 20 JUNIORS/GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP and these general conditions.
- The tournament will be played in the city of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
- It will be played under the Swiss system to nine rounds, with a rhythm of ninety minutes per
player to finish the game, with the addition of thirty seconds from the first movement.
- Tolerance for forfeit: Thirty (30) minutes.
- The Chief Arbiter of the event will be AI Mario Garay.
- Of the participants. Each Federation will have the right to send an official player in each
category

– Se jugará bajo el sistema suizo a nueve rondas, con un ritmo de noventa minutos por jugador para terminar la partida, con el agregado de treinta segundos desde el primer movimiento.

– El árbitro principal del evento será el AI Mario Garay.
